[Plone-docs] Recommended SSL Configuration Documentation

Hi All,

I'm looking for the replacement for the withdrawn page at: -

http://plone.org/documentation/kb-old/apache-ssl

...which does not yet seem to be at: -

http://developer.plone.org/

I'm reasonably content that I have it set up right, and have
sanity-checked based on a hodge-podge of StackOverflow answers, but
would like to see the docs (and ideally a worked example for comparison)
before going live.

I have what I think is the simplest possible use case - I simply want to
protect the login forms and the authentication cookie, but run without
SSL for anonymous users.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi,

you could check these for example:

http://developer.plone.org/hosting/nginx.html?highlight=ssl#securing-plone-sites-with-https-and-nginx

or

http://developer.plone.org/hosting/apache.html?highlight=ssl#id16

Cheers,

Sven
